Bella Mente Montessori Academy successfully acquired their school in Vista, California. The $15,970,000 tax-exempt financing was completed in the third quarter of 2018. Bella Mente Montessori Academy is public charter school located in northern San Diego County. It opened in 2013, and its mission is to provide students with the opportunity to acquire an education based on a quality curriculum founded on the educational philosophy of Dr. Maria Montessori. Bella Mente intends to promote an educational atmosphere that encourages socioeconomic diversity by providing all students with the opportunity to obtain a quality public education with the aim to prepare each student with the skills, knowledge, and values to participate meaningfully in the pluralistic world of the 21st century.
